6 Ways to Hide Your Cellulite in the Summer

“How can I hide my cellulite in the Summer?”

That is the burning question many women secretly ask themselves when spring is in the air and beach season is right around the corner.

It can be when stepping out of the shower and looking in the mirror, imagining the painful thought of putting on a bikini and thinking;

“OMG, no way am I going to be seen with all  these awful dimples a shadows on my butt, hips and thighs!”

Then the question of hiding it pops into mind. So, if you’re one of those women who wants to hide your cellulite for the Summer, then you just found a good list of different ways to do just that.

And here are the simple answers :

1 – You can lock yourself in your room and hide away until summer passes.

hiding is not a way to deal with cellulite
2 – Whenever there’s a pool-party or beach gathering, you can coincidentally come down with a sudden 24-hour virus; or just tell the others; “I have a bad case of poison ivy and can’t be out in the sun…”

3 – You can wear a really long summer dress or light jeans and tell everyone; “Oh, I forgot my bikini…”

4 – You can tell everyone you’ll be out of the country, traveling around the world for the whole Summer, so “Don’t bother inviting me to any outdoor gatherings, etc…”

5 – You can cleverly wrap yourself in a full-body-blanket wherever you go and tell everyone; “I’m allergic to the sun so I have to keep all my skin covered-up…”

6 – You can wear a full-length, spandex cat-suit and tell everyone at the summer-beach reunion: “I’m trying to start a new swimwear fad…”

Now, you know doing any of the above is not really hiding your cellulite, because it’s still there unless you’re doing the right thing to get rid of it, totally.

It’s really you, sadly hiding from living your life.

THAT IS NO WAY TO LIVE

And yet – there are countless women all over the world who avoid the most pleasant and enjoyable life experiences of life, just so they don’t have to feel self-conscious or embarrassed about the bumps, shadows and dimples on their trouble-zones and problem areas…

It doesn’t have to be that way for you.

You can enjoy all the freedom and pleasures of life without being controlled by your disgust of your lower body. You can take definitive steps to get rid of your cellulite issue by reversing the underlying cause.

So, here’s a great question for you:

What feels the best to you? Keeping your cellulite....
and hiding yourself from life...?

Or: Getting rid of all those shadows and dimples on your buns, hips and thighs so you can live your life to the fullest in every possible aspect?

You know the answer. You know what you really want, deep down.

So do it for yourself and start enjoying all the things in life you’ve been avoiding. All you need is a targeted way to reverse the cause of the bumps and ripples on your lower body zones.

butt and thigh muscles to reverse cellulite

By stimulating and toning the muscle layers in your trouble spots, you’ll get the muscles to lift and tone-up. They will gently push outward against your skin, causing it to get smooth, tight and even.

The longer you procrastinate the worse your cellulite issue will get. The aging process makes everything worse unless you take proper and proactive steps to slow the aging process with simple but proven habits of daily living.

It’s your choice. You decide.

What is Cellulite?

What is Cellulite? That is the million dollar question… Read on for the answer:

It’s what glares back at you in those poorly lit dressing rooms when you are trying on a bathing suit.

It’s what you hate to see the most looking in the mirror when naked. And it’s what forces you to make love with the lights off.

It’s what is present on the majority of women and you don’t even have to be overweight to have it. Buns, hips, thighs, legs and belly; these are the places cellulite likes to call ‘home’ on women of all ages, shapes and sizes.

It’s in all the places where you don’t want it. But, does it really have to be?

Cellulite – It Doesn’t Have to Be Your Reality

What is Cellulite?

Let’s start with what cellulite IS NOT. It’s not a skin issue, it’s not a fat issue, it’s not a toxin issue nor a blood flow issue and has nothing to do with water retention.

Cellulite is a muscle-fiber issue.

The term “cellulite” actually originated in a French spa to describe the cottage cheese or orange peel appearance that many women experience on their thighs, hips, legs, butt and stomach.

Cellulite doesn’t equal fat. Although fat cells are involved, loose muscle fibers are at the root of the cellulite problem.
Skin is the largest organ on your body. All that skin is supported by muscle, and there are about 90 different muscles from the waist to your ankles.

When your muscles don’t get the proper stimulation then they get atrophied – flat, mushy and droopy. The result is the skin on top of your muscle layers doesn’t “hang” right and you get the appearance of those bumps and dimples we so commonly call cellulite.

Think about it this way. If you were hanging drapes, which would give better support and allow the drapes to hang perfectly: a loose piece of rope or a sturdy rod?

Can Cellulite be Reduced with Creams?

In order to get rid of cellulite, you must first fully understand the answer to the question: What is cellulite?
The cellulite creams on the market use a lot of scientific talk about how cellulite is caused by toxins, or hormones, or a special kind of fat that can be “cured” or melted away by the use of their creams.

However, the reality and the science behind these products is not so clear cut.

Cellulite is the result of weak, mushy and droopy muscles. The 2 layers of fat and skin, which rest on top of the muscle layers have no firm base of support and this results in the bumpy and dimpled appearance that makes many women self-conscious and hesitant to wear shorts or a bathing suit.

Tone, strengthen and lift the muscle fibers and you will eliminate cellulite by reversing the cause of it.

Are There Any Non Surgical Treatments for Cellulite?

There are treatments advertised in the cosmetic and spa industries that claim to improve the look of a person’s skin and eliminate cellulite. The promises of Endermologie, Mesotherapy, Velashape, and Velasmooth sound almost too good to be true, right?

The reality is that any treatments with FDA approval are only allowed to market their product as providing a “temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite”.

There are NO non-surgical treatments that can claim to eliminate cellulite.

And the best way to get rid of your cellulite doesn’t have to cost you a fortune. Targeted, 3-dimensional exercises are safe and work on the real cause of cellulite which is muscle fibers that have become flat, mushy and loose.

Is My Cellulite in My Genes?

Many people who try to answer the question, “What is cellulite” are quickly faced with various definitions of what it is and more importantly, how to get rid of cellulite.

Some experts blame it on your genes. This unfortunately leads many to believe that they will always be victims of cellulite with no real power to enhance the look of their own skin. If mom had it, then they are going to have it too and that’s the end of the story.

Not true.

Your Genetic Range

Cellulite is not a “gene” thing so don’t get trapped into feeling helpless over your own physique. You may have a genetic predisposition regarding the natural condition of your muscle tone and the areas of your body where your fat is stored; however, your genes are not your destiny.

Most people don’t know your genes also possess a high-end potential. In other words we all have a ‘genetic range’.
When you let yourself go, you experience the worst your genes have to offer. But when you incorporate the right lifestyle habits and treat your body properly, you experience your best potential–physically, mentally and spiritually.

With the right information and some targeted effort, you will no longer need to search for the answer to the “What is cellulite” question because you will be cellulite free.

What is Cellulite’s Connection to Nutrition?

There is definitely some truth to the phrase “You are what you eat.” No doubt, eating foods that provide the kind of nutrients your body craves will give you the naked beauty you deserve.

Nourishing yourself from the inside out gives you healthy cells, healthy connective tissue (collagen and elastin), and a healthy outlook on life in general. This type of beauty radiates from within and when you have it, people notice.

Aside from feeling good, you are also rewarded with skin that is strong, healthy, firm, hydrated, healthy and younger looking. All that makes for a stronger and sexier “YOU”.

So, what sort of food and supplementation do you need to get all this nutritional beauty? That’s a great question.

In general, you want to include amino acids, essential fatty acids and antioxidants to not only build strong cells but also give them the ability to fight off free radicals that can damage your body.

Can Exercise Improve the Appearance of Cellulite?

Yes, But the exercises that work are very specific and targeted.

You have to be careful here because many exercises are 2-dimensional. Although they can build muscle and strength, they do not have the ability to fully target the root cause of cellulite. There are those who say that target exercises don’t work to eliminate fat and therefore do nothing for cellulite reduction.

These are the people who believe that cellulite is fat.

When they say that exercise doesn’t work, they are usually referring to the inability of exercise to melt away fat in a certain, targeted area of the body.

But the right 3-dimensional exercises that target your cellulite are not focusing on “melting” away fat. The purpose of these 3-dimensional exercises it to rebuild the firmness and fullness of the muscle fibers beneath the skin so that it provides a sturdier base for your skin.

The result: No Cellulite.

So, now you know the answer to the mystery question : What is cellulite?

It’s a frustrating phenomena experienced by about 90% of women and many men. With all the information, mis-information, and promises for quick fixes, it’s easy for people to get confused about what they can do, and what actually gets results.

Thousands can be spent on treatments that are nothing more than band-aids that only mask, or sometimes worsen, the look of the skin.

Naked beauty is possible and you can achieve cellulite free skin with a body you are proud to show off instead of covering up or hiding.

The key is to do slow-tempo, multi-dimensional body movements, which are NOT done with typical weights and machine type exercises. Most regular fitness instructors don’t even know about these targeted cellulite-killing moves. (click to watch video).
